At dusk and night time there is nothing that will make you safer than a good set of lights. Quite often a good light will be able to be seen long before any reflector or reflective/bright clothing can be seen, some lights being visible up to a kilometre away.

Weather-resistant for durability, the Trek Flare 2 rear light uses six ultra-bright LEDs to provide 270 degrees and up to 3000 ft. (914 metres) of visibility. Two AAA batteries (included) provide over 70 hours of run time, in steady, strobe-flash and random flash modes. Included with the Trek Flare 2 is a standard seatpost/seatstay mounting bracket as well as a clip bracket for mounting to a backpack or pannier bag. The Integrated M5 nut and hardware also allows for easy reflector bracket mounting. |
