White Industries Products
White Industries, although not a household brand, has been known for quite some time by single speed enthusiasts world wide. They manufacture a range of products including hubs, cranks and freewheels. Their hubs are probably the most popular product, in their line up, especially the "Eno Eccentric" hub. This revolutionary rear hub allows the conversion of almost any hard tail bike into a single speed platform, without the need of any extra chain tensioning device or spacers. All White hubs are made in the USA and feature extremely high quality manufacturing processes and the best quality sealed bearings. This allows them to run with minimal drag and have a very long life span.
White Industries hubs have recently been upgraded and now features a spline to fit fixed cogs. The cogs mate to all White Ind. fixed gear hubs and are available in sizes 14t-20t in both 3/32" and 1/8" widths. This solves the problem of spinning off cogs when skid-braking or slowing with a standard screw on cog and lockring.
