Freewheels

Freewheels have notoriously been considered the Achilles' heel to the drive train system.  Traditionally, the freewheel has been considered a disposable component that should be replaced on a regular basis.  We approached the component differently.  We set out to create and manufacture a freewheel that would be durable, reliable, and easily maintained.  We succeeded in our endeavors and the ENO freewheel is now regarded as an industry leader.  The freewheel utilizes a sealed cartridge bearing instead of a loose ball system.  The advantage of the cartridge bearing is that it is sealed from the elements such as mud, grit, and water.  The other benefit is that the bearing is nicely contained in one simple unit and easily pulled and replaced when worn.  The ENO freewheel features a machined inner driver and machined outer gear case resulting in a freewheel that runs concentrically without the tight loose spots common to other freewheels.  36t engagement system and a case hardened, electroless nickel plated outer gear case make this freewheel a perfect addition to your single speed.  Made in the USA

Trials Freewheel

The trials specific ENO freewheel was developed specifically for trials riding.  Typically the trials freewheel is installed on the crank arm and a fixed gear is used at the hub.  The two main issues with trials is quick engagement and durability of the freewheel.  The trials version addresses both of these concerns.  We have designed a specific outer gear case that is beefier than our standard freewheel.  The case, like all our freewheels, is made out of 8620 steel, cased hardened and then electroless nickel plated.  In short, made to last.  The engagement system is a six pawl system yielding 72 points of engagement, double that of our standard freewheel.  Can this freewheel be used in a typical single speed non trials application?  Certainly.  Available in 18t only.  Made in the USA.

Fixed Cogs

White Industries splined fixed gear cogs made out of 8620 case hardened steel.  The cogs mate to our fixed gear hubs and are available in sizes 13t-20t in both 3/32" and 1/8" widths.   With the Fixed cogs fitted onto a spline rather than threaded on as per usual, there is absolutely no chance of spinning off a cog when slowling or skid stopping.

The cog is designed to be used with a standard english 1.29 x 24 tpi threaded lock ring.
