Course Outline

Road Bike Master Class
This class is tailored to those that already own a ROAD bike and are keen to keep it in tip top shape, or learn a little more about how to tune it at home

Cost: $109.00

Maximum Attendees: 4

Checks
  • Inspect tyres for glass, gravel shards and cuts, check for correct pressure
  • Inspect wheels for true
  • Inspect chain and freewheel.  Measure the chain for wear, check for tight links and replace the chain if necessary
  • Inspect brake levers, derailleurs and all cables
  • Inspect pedals, Inspect Cleats, Inspect tires for wear and replace if needed.
Services
  • Fix a flat
  • Completely clean the bike, including the drive train if necessary
  • Replace inner cables (supplied)
  • True Wheels
  • Service Bearings
  • Tune Gears and Brakes
  • Lubricate Cables and Derailleurs
  • Tighten all Bolts

 

Gran Prix Bicycles offer Saturday Morning Social Ride (starts at 7.00am outside the shop)

What to bring:

Class Times;

Classes run on Sunday's starting at 4:15pm and generally finish at around 8:30pm, although classes can run late due to enthusiastic pupils.

 

Workshop Booking Policy

* Payment must be paid in FULL upon registration. 
* Paid and booked classes are not transferable unless ONE WEEK cancellation notice is given prior to class commencing.
* We reserve the right to postpone a nominated class date if the required quorum is not reached .
